Since its launch in 2016, this remarkable programme has connected hundreds of STEMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Medicine) professionals from across the world, empowering them with strategic skills, visionary thinking and a collaborative network — all with Antarctica as their inspirational backdrop.
More than a leadership course, Homeward Bound is a community united by a shared purpose: to elevate voices that are too often under-represented at decision-making tables. Through a year-long leadership programme, participants deepen their scientific understanding, sharpen their strategic impact and learn to influence policy and public discourse for the greater good. The journey culminates in an unforgettable expedition to Antarctica — a place where the urgency of climate change is laid bare and where bonds forged between participants spark long-lasting collaborations.
